Jorge Conde en "Circuito_Berlín 012"
Proyección de la vídeo-instalación “The Unheard-of Building”, versión 10’58”, perteneciente al proyecto “Cualquier lugar es otro lugar”.
La obra presenta antiguos espacios urbanos funcionales que han sido transformados en equipamientos culturales, con un fuerte énfasis en el caso de Berlín. Estas transformaciones responden a una estrategia desarrollada por los sectores público y privado en diversos países cuyo objetivo no sólo es dinamizar la escena cultural sino también alimentar la especulación, generar prestigio, convocar a la sociedad civil y reactivar zonas deprimidas del paisaje urbano.

Visual artist Jorge Conde participates in "Circuit_Berlin 012"
“The Unheard-of Building” video-installation will be shown at the Cervantes Institute in Berlin, Germany (June 2nd-August 10th).
This video-installation is included in his recent multimedia project called "Any place is another place".
This piece (10'58" version) shows old urban spaces that in recent times have been transformed into cultural premises or cutting-edge spaces for the arts, highlighting some of the places located in the city of Berlin. These transformations have been carried out by the public and private sectors in the past three decades, following a widely-used, cross-cultural, international strategy that aims to promote creation, speed up the cultural scene, articulate society, as well as to stimulate speculation and reactivate declining urban areas.
With the support of the Spanish Embassy in Berlin and the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
